* The finished product requires the proper application of finish brickwork, tile setting, and/or stucco work. All of these disciplines require many, many hours of training in order to produce a fine finished product. Very rarely will a first attempt at any art form produce a pleasing end product that will last the test of time. Just something to consider.

  • Authentic Firebrick oven! No molded parts from pouring concrete into a form. Our ovens are of medium-duty firebrick which are comprised of roughly 35% alumina and 50% silica, heat up quickly, easily withstand the 900+F heat your oven will reach, and are designed for the rapid heat-up and cool down (thermal cycling) that your oven will experience. Firebrick will also reach the heat required for pizza more quickly than clay brick, as they are more efficient at conducting heat.

    Further, because medium-duty firebrick is designed to withstand thermal cycling, your oven will last longer, and they are resistant to spalling (chipping and flaking) which is common with cheaper cast concrete and clay brick ovens.
